LEARN HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN BODY WASH AND NATURAL SHAMPOO SOAP BARS!

North Devon Soap are hosting a beginner's soap making course at our soap making workshop in North Devon, the home of the soapmaker! Using 100% natural butters, oils and botanicals, you will discover the ancient art of cold process soap making.
You will learn about the history of soap making, the materials you are using, how to make 100% natural soap bars using the cold process method plus plenty of tips and tricks from the soapmaker herself! You will make and take home a small batch of of natural soap equivalent to 7-8 large bars.
Your morning will look like:
- Introductions
- Brief history of Soap Making
- Introduction to Natural Materials and Soap Making Equipment
- Soap Making Demonstration
- Soap Making
All equipment is provided but please bring a towel and a cardboard box large enough to fit a drinks carton in. You will use the carton, towel and box to take your soap home.
The soap you take home can be used as body wash or shampoo or both.
Course will start at 10:00am and finish by 12:30pm.
This course will be run on Saturday 14th October 2023 at The Soapmaker's Workshop, Unit 7, Caddsdown Business Support Centre, Bideford, Devon EX39 3DX. (Please ask us for directions if needed.)
